Xiaomi Mi TV 4 successfully selling in India

After going out for a first time, Mi TV 4 by Xiaomi is all set to go on sale for the second time today in India, and can you wonder what did happen.

It went, at the same time, on sale at Flipkart and the Mi online shops and was out of stock within seconds, yes, you read it right, within seconds!.

Xiaomi hasn’t said how many TVs sold in today’s sale but they had a really attractive price of Rs 39,999, and the demand is very high. The TV has a 55-inch screen with HDR.

The smart TV will be available for purchase via Xiaomi’s official e-store Mi.com and also Flipkart.

The first sale the Mi TV 4 was available only via online channels like Mi.com and Flipkart. It is for the first time that the smart TV will be available across all Mi Homes.

It will be a flash sale, we can expect the Mi TV 4 to go out of stock in no time.

The first sale of Mi TV 4 went out of stock in just 10 seconds time according the company claims. but there is no information about the number of units sold out in the first sale.

The whole Mi TV set up, including the base, weighs under 20kg, making the Mi TV 4 one of the sleekest high-end TVs that money can buy.

This is the first time that Xiaomi launched a Mi TV outside China, and we don´t know when it will arrive to Europe. The Mi TV 4 comes with a 55-inch screen and uses a panel made by Samsung. It includes a custom-built Samsung 4K SVA (Superior Vertical Alignment) display panel with a 3840×2160 pixel resolution. The TV comes with a 4K resolution support for HDR colours. For Xiaomi, Mi TV 4 is the slimmest TV in the world currently, a screen as thin as 4.9mm and only 48mm at its thickest.

Mi TV 4 was launched in China in three variants in three different sizes 49, 55 and 65-inch, but Xiaomi is only bringing the 55-inch version to the Indian market for now.

From the two variants in China: one that’s modular and allows users to selectively upgrade the display, the motherboard and the audio components and another that’s more mainstream and quite obviously lighter on the pocket. Xiaomi is only bringing the cheaper variant to the Indian market.

Mi TV comes bundled with a lot of the content partnerships in their Smart TV options like Hotstar, Hungama, Sony LIV, but other privders like Netflix and Amazon Prime are missing. The Mi TV 4 is powered by a Quad-Core processor that uses ARM Cortex A53 chipsets.

The Mi TV 4 comes along with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.

Connectivity: There are plenty of options. T2 USB ports and 3 HDMI ports, an Ethernet port which can let users easily connect to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth support. and two 8W speakers which bring support for Dolby sound.
