Xiaomi Mi 9 will be released very very very soon
Two days before the launch of Mi 9 and to celebrate the event, Xiaomi previewed its next flagship in advance, revealing a series of images with smartphone information, including screen size, camera specifications, fingerprint scraper, wireless charging, and other features.
The triple rear camera configuration will include a 48 megapixel main sensor combined with a 16 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12 megapixel telephoto lens. This will allow not only the feeling of depth of field in the images, such as photos of landscapes at wide angles, but also an even more powerful zoom on the object of interest, a phone that will continue the Xiaomi Mi 8 you can see here.
The entire configuration is vertically aligned on the back of the smartphone and has integrated artificial intelligence, is protected by a sapphire lens and has laser autofocus support (both PDAF and CDAF). In front of you, the screen will be an AMOLED made by Samsung in Full HD+ resolution. The fifth generation fingerprint scanner (25% faster) is under the screen.
Xiaomi points to a “wide colour gamut of 103.8% NTSC and 600 nit brightness with support for high brightness mode (HBM)”, and the screen has a screen-body ratio of 90.7%, which means a reduction in the lower notch. Speaking of notch, the notch is present in the water drop format device, which contains an ambient light sensor and an ultrasonic proximity sensor.
The smartphone will also offer features such as 2.0 scan mode and 2.0 “daylight” mode, promising better readability in any environment. For wireless charging, the smartphone will have a circular module to charge up to 20W, and on-duty gamers will be able to take advantage of the Game Turbo, a feature that will power the CPU and GPU for a smoother experience.
The sound quality will also improve: Xiaomi even claims that the audio will be equivalent to a large 0.9 cc speaker. The Xiaomi Mi 9 will come in three different colors: Lavender Violet, Ocean Blue and Piano Black.
There is also a fourth finishing option, revealed by Xiaomi founder Lei Jun, inspired by the film Alita. The smartphone will be called Battle Angel because of it and will have transparent back, in addition to offering 12 GB of RAM. The camera configuration of this model will also include the 48 megapixel main camera, but with one difference: instead of having a 6P lens with an aperture of f/1.75, this edition will have a 7P lens with an aperture of f/1.47. Another small difference is in the glass gradient, which is only 0.4 mm. Otherwise, the model has the same features and specifications as the standard Mi 9 that will be released this week.
